Arizona Cardinals Player Suspended for Betting on NFL Games

Arizona Cardinals Player Suspended for Betting on NFL Games
The NFL suspended an Arizona Cardinal Player for betting on league games. Cornerback Josh Shaw’s suspension will last for the rest of the season. The good news is that Shaw hasn’t played any game this season because of an injury.

The NFL told the Sports Betting Bookie that there’s no proof indicating games were compromised in any manner. Also, there was no indication of Shaw using inside information to win wagers. League rules don’t allow employees and players to bet on any games.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that the success of the league depends on everyone to protect the integrity of the game as well as the reputations of people involved in the league. As such, the NFL prohibits anyone working with the league to bet on the games.
