Tom Hanks Endured Aston Villa’s Highs and Lows

Celebrities in Hollywood are becoming fond of watching soccer.

In the past week, Will Ferrell has been sighted visiting Wrexham, Manchester City, and Liverpool. Tom Hanks has had to deal with the ups and downs of being a soccer fan this week.

Hanks, a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa, was photographed at Villa Park watching his team lose a great English Premier League match, 4-2 to championship rival Arsenal in a six-goal thriller.

According to online gambling sources, it took only five minutes for Villa to take the lead thanks to a goal from Ollie Watkins that stunned and delighted the home fans.

Having met the squad just before kickoff, Hanks enthusiastically joined in the jubilant celebrations, staring about in apparent disbelief until he audibly exclaimed, "Oh my!" and turned to embrace the person next to him.

Ten minutes later, Arsenal tied the game as Bukayo Saka's powerful shot from inside the area beat Villa's World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emi Martinez.

But Villa kept pushing, and on the half-hour mark, a fluid move slashed through Arsenal's defense, and Philippe Coutinho scored to give Villa the lead once again.
