Teams Interested in Trading for Panthers Bryce Young

Even though Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales has stated that the team has no plans to sell quarterback Bryce Young—the former No. 1 overall pick—ESPN reports that other teams have shown interest in trading for Young.

League sources have revealed that several clubs have approached the Panthers about trading for Young and that other teams have discussed the possibility internally.

According to football betting picks experts, the Panthers have denied any intention of trading Young. Still, league insiders say a trade involving the second-year quarterback is inevitable, and it will probably happen over the summer.

Trading Bryce Young

Depending on the outcome of the next several weeks, the Panthers may look to Young again later this season as a backup quarterback for new starter Andy Dalton. Currently, the Panthers still like Young in this role.

Despite Young's struggles and lack of production as the No. 1 overall quarterback pick, the Panthers still anticipate receiving some return on their trade for Dalton, even though it will be far lower than the amount they traded to the Chicago Bears to secure him in the draft.

In 2019, Arizona selected wide receiver Andy Isabella with the second-round pick (62nd overall) after trading first-round pick Josh Rosen (10th in 2018) to the Dolphins.
