Today, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission announced a significant development. All seven state sportsbooks licensed by the state will be present at a future public meeting, a crucial event addressing player restrictions. This follows a notable incident a month ago when six sportsbooks failed to attend a roundtable discussion on the same topic.
According to gambling news reports, the public meeting has no schedule yet.
Even though most Massachusetts sportsbooks were absent, the long-awaited roundtable discussion on restricting sports betting clients in the province occurred last month before the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. According to the MGC, the operators wanted the meeting to go into executive session, but the other members were against the idea.
